A warm Dales welcome to 2024

Here we go again. January 2024 almost gone, and before we know it Easter will be upon us, bringing with it another season of hikers travelling from Ilkley to Bowness  on the Dales way walk. 

Looking forward to meeting customers new and old, in what will be our 37th year of trading.

"36 years behind bars"

In 1987 whilst playing a game of dominoes (and consuming far too much alcohol) with the then owners of the Inn, we made the crazy decision to buy our very own pub, lock stock and barrel (pun intended). Still here 36 years on and with the fourth generation of the family making the occasional appearance behind the bar,  we look forward to welcoming you to our home The Sportsmans Inn.
